High level piano education on a quality grand piano
for all ages

Student piano recitals called "Yours is the Steinway" are organized with great success every year by Szent István Király Zeneművészeti Szakgimnázium és Alapfokú Művészeti Iskola in collaboration with Zuglói Filharmónia where the best students can show their knowledge from many music schools from all over the coutry. This event is also an application exam for some talented students. Performers play on a Steinway & Sons grand piano model D-274 in the Grand Hall of the school.

We had a commemoration of two great persons of our music history on our 6th Hangrózsa student piano recital held on 3rd December 2016, 11 pm, az Béla Bartók Memorial House. Our school celebrated the 2nd birthday of its name with this concert. The event was topped up with the brilliant playing of László Baranyay concert pianist awarded with Liszt Prize, Steinway Artist.

Bartók-year on the 135th anniversary of the birth of Béla Bartók was announced by Zoltán Balog, Minister of Human Capacities. Some of the programs planned for the season 2016/17 are hosted by Béla Bartók Memorial House. The international piano masterclass that worked with solo piano pieces by Béla Bartók and some transcriptions was processed by the initiation of Casba Király concert pianist awarded by Liszt Prize, director of the memorial house.

As the flower petals - however beautiful are they themselves - show their value forming a chalice together, so do the solo music productions compiling a concert. With this metaphor beginned the 5th student concert of Hangrózsa Zongoraiskola on 4th June 2016, at 11 am at Béla Bartók Memorial House. The event was crowned by János Balázs Liszt and Junior Prima awarded concert pianist.

Hangrózsa Zongoraiskola was introduced on 28th November 2014 with this name. The ceremonial concert including the inauguration of our roll-up was held at the Steinway Hall of Opera Zongoraterem. Our high level education goes under this brand name since then. In the past year 26 students learned many beautiful pieces from which the best productions were performed on stage.

A complex cultural experience was offered to the guests who visited Béla Bartók Memorial House on 30th May, 2015. There was held the first public student concert of Hangrózsa Piano School in the concert hall of the museum, on that day, at 11 am. For the price of a museum ticket the audience could visit not only the memorial rooms but the musical productions of child and adult students of Hangrózsa Piano School. The event's rank was enhanced by an invited artist Ivett Gyöngyösi concert pianist who is well known from "Virtuózok" TV show.
